Privacy Policy
How magentoseo.agency handles enquiry data, site storage, and client Magento access.
Last updated: 25 July 2026
This policy applies to https://magentoseo.agency operated by [COMPANY LEGAL NAME], [REGISTERED ADDRESS]. Governing law references: [JURISDICTION]. Replace bracketed legal placeholders in site configuration before production go-live if still marked as placeholders.
What we collect via the contact form
When you submit the contact form, we collect name, work email, store URL, optional company name, optional Magento edition/version, optional catalogue size, and your message. Submissions are processed by Formspree (https://formspree.io) as a processor acting on our instructions. Do not send passwords or secrets through the form.
Why we process enquiry data
We process enquiry data to respond to Magento SEO scoping requests, schedule calls, and keep a record of communications. Legal bases under GDPR-style regimes typically include legitimate interests in responding to business enquiries and, where applicable, steps prior to entering a contract.
Retention
Enquiry records are retained only as long as needed for scoping and ordinary business record-keeping, then deleted or anonymised unless a longer retention period is required by law or an active contract.
Theme preference storage
The site may store a theme preference key (`mseo-theme`) in localStorage on your device so light or dark mode persists. That value does not identify you and is not sent to our servers as analytics.
Client Magento, Search Console, and staging access
During engagements you may grant access to Magento admin, repositories, staging, Google Search Console, analytics, or logs. We use that access only to deliver the agreed Magento SEO work. Access should use least-privilege accounts where possible. At the end of an engagement, or on request, we stop using those credentials and support your offboarding checklist so accounts can be revoked.
Processors
Formspree processes form submissions. Hosting and DNS providers process ordinary server logs required to operate the website. We do not load third-party analytics scripts on this marketing site.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of personal data, and to object to certain processing. Contact fabi@site-media.co.uk to make a request. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in your jurisdiction.
